1. Acceptance

By using Brockily ("the Platform", at brockily.com), you agree to these terms. If you are under 18, your parent, guardian, or school must consent on your behalf. Schools and teachers who invite students accept these terms on their students' behalf.

2. What Brockily is

Brockily is a study and classroom-games platform: question sets ("study sets"), live multiplayer games hosted by a teacher, solo study modes, homework assignments, spaced-repetition review with progress reporting, and a free public library of study sets. Students can join a live game with just a code and a nickname — no account required.

3. Accounts

Teachers and students can create accounts with an email address and password. Students can also join a teacher's class with a class code. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. Two-factor authentication is available in account settings and recommended for teacher accounts.

4. Free tier and the paid subscription

Brockily includes a free plan, not a time-limited trial. Students can join games, study, review and complete homework without their own paid subscription. A free teacher account can host the 16 Free Core modes without using its monthly allowance. Other metered experiences have a monthly hosting allowance; the free account includes one class.

The optional teacher subscription (currently US$5 per month) removes those hosting caps and adds professional reporting (retention analytics, per-student consistency reports, CSV export). It renews monthly and automatically until cancelled.

Payment is processed by Stripe. Brockily never sees or stores your card number.
Cancelling: you can cancel any time from Settings → Billing (via Stripe's own portal). You keep paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for; no further charges are made.
Price changes will be notified in advance and never applied silently to an existing subscription.
Refunds: nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. For a billing problem, email hello@brockily.com and we will sort it out.

5. Virtual items

Tokens, collectibles, and other in-game items are earned by playing and studying. They cannot be purchased with real money, cannot be exchanged for real money, and have no monetary value. They may be adjusted or reset as part of game-balance changes.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) use Brockily to harass, bully, or harm others; (b) attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours; (c) disrupt games or the service (including automated scraping or load); (d) upload content that is illegal, offensive, or infringes intellectual property. Teachers and schools are responsible for supervising student use. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

7. Content ownership

Teachers own the study sets and materials they create. By making a set public or school-shared, you grant Brockily a licence to host and display it to the audience you chose, and you grant other users the right to study it and save an attributed copy. Brockily's own library content is provided for educational use on the Platform.

8. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Brockily is a small, actively developed product; planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account, which permanently erases your data (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. If we ever discontinue the Platform, subscribers will be notified and unused subscription time refunded.

10. Limitation of liability

Brockily is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Brockily's liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding any claim. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia.
