What this site holds, and what it does not
Short, because there is not much to describe. A site that asks you to check its evidence should be checkable itself.
Ventures you create
- Stored in a sandbox that is cleared when the server restarts. Nothing here survives long, and none of it is backed up.
- Readable only by the browser that created them, using a random token in a cookie. That token is the only credential — lose the cookie and the ventures are gone, and anyone who obtained it could read them.
- Do not paste anything here you would mind losing, or mind being read if that token leaked. This is a demonstration, not a workspace.
The cookie
One cookie, bk_sid, holding a random token. It is not an
identifier tied to you, it is not shared, and it is not used for analytics
or advertising. It exists so your ventures are yours and not everyone's.
There is no analytics, no tracking pixel, no advertising network and no third-party script on this site.
Pages you cite
When you add a source, this server fetches that page and stores the text it extracted, so the evidence score can be calculated against something real. Only public addresses are fetched — private, internal and cloud-metadata addresses are refused.
The letter
The list is not open, so no addresses are held anywhere.
Getting in touch
To ask what is held about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, reply to any issue of the letter. If the list is not open, there is nothing held to ask about.
This note describes what the software actually does — it was written alongside the code, not as boilerplate. It is not legal advice, and if this site starts taking payments or holding accounts it will need reviewing by someone qualified.
